“Expressions of Gratitude”
Judaism has a long history of teaching people to express gratitude, both for “small” things like the foods we eat and for larger things such as reaching major milestones in life. Traditionally, this was done by giving thanks to God. But how does Humanistic Judaism, a non-theistic movement, approach the question of expressing gratitude? Join us this Shabbat as we compare traditional and Humanistic expressions of gratitude and some subtleties of each. Hopefully, attendees will be grateful they came!
THIS IS AN IN-PERSON EVENT, we look forward to seeing you at the Miles Nadal JCC!!
