This Canadian movie (2023, 65 minutes) was a hit at this summer's Toronto Jewish Film Festival, and we are delighted to have Shaina Silver-Baird (writer, creator and actor) and Michael Goldlist (writer / creator) join us as special guests.

At 30, Viv's failing music career has forced her back into her mother's basement. But when this self proclaimed "bad Jew" reluctantly lands a job as a Cantor at her family's synagogue, she’s thrown into a wild ride of illicit affairs, drug trips, tense family drama, self discovery and some serious Jewish bops. In this musical comedy cross between Shiva Baby and The Jazz Singer, we view a delightful story about modern Jewish life, unabashedly set in Toronto.
